Spartans, Come See Behind Your Design at the MSU Vendor Fair!

September 8, 2026

We’re Heading to Michigan State University!

Behind Your Design is excited to be heading to East Lansing for the Michigan State University Apparel & Promotional Vendor Fair on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 12:00–3:00 PM in the MSU Union Ballroom.

This event gives MSU departments, staff, students, club sports and registered student organizations a chance to meet officially licensed vendors, see products in person, gather ideas and learn more about what’s available for their next project or event. Attendees can also ask questions about MSU logos and licensing requirements.

And yes — there will be free swag!

Come See Behind Your Design

If you’re an MSU student, staff member, department buyer, club member or part of a registered student organization, we’d love for you to stop by our booth and say hello.

We’ll be bringing a variety of promotional products, apparel and samples so you can see some of the many things we can create at Behind Your Design. Whether you’re planning an upcoming event, looking for apparel for your organization, need employee or student gifts, want creative giveaway ideas or simply want to see what’s new in promotional products, this is a great opportunity to gather inspiration.

One of the best things about an event like this is being able to actually see and touch the products instead of scrolling through hundreds of options online. Grab samples, find ideas you can take back to your department or organization and talk with us about ways we can make your next project stand out.

We Have a Little Spartan Connection, Too 💚

We’re especially excited about this show because MSU is already part of the Behind Your Design family.

Matt is a Michigan State University alumnus, and our daughter Addison is currently a sophomore at MSU, so we’re always happy for an excuse to spend a little more time on campus.

We’d love to connect with more Spartans and show you what our team right here in Fenton can do for MSU departments, organizations and students.

Reusable bags are one of those promotional products that just make sense. They’re practical, versatile and give your brand plenty of room to be seen. But there’s always one problem: remembering to actually bring them with you. That’s what makes a foldable reusable bag such a smart option. Instead of taking up space when it’s not being used, it folds down into a compact size that’s easy to keep close by. Toss it in a purse, backpack, glove compartment or desk drawer, and it’s ready when you need it.

When you have something worth showing off, banners make it hard to miss. Custom banners are one of those marketing tools that can work for just about any occasion. Th ey’re big enough to get attention, flexible enough to work indoors or outdoors, and customizable to fit everything from a single celebration to a large event. Whether you’re building brand visibility, recognizing sponsors, celebrating an accomplishment or directing attention to an important message, a well-designed banner gives you plenty of space to make an impact.

Halloween isn’t just for costumes and candy. It’s also a fun opportunity to get your brand out into the community! From business trick-or-treating and trunk-or-treats to Witches Night Out events, fall festivals , and Halloween parties , there are plenty of ways to join in the fun with promotional products people will be excited to receive. Whether you’re planning something for kids, adults, or a little bit of both, there are plenty of ways to find something fun and useful. Getting your brand into the holiday spirit is an easy way to create a positive association with your business while increasing visibility in your community. When your business shows up at a trade show, community event, festival, expo or open house, your brand should show up, too. A custom tent kit gives you a coordinated setup that’s ready to go right along with you. Custom tent kits bring together a branded event tent with coordinating pieces like walls, table covers, feather flags and retractable banners. Different tent kit options include different items, so you can choose the one that makes the most sense for the events your business attends.

The best promotional products do more than put your logo in front of people. They help create connection. We’ve had the opportunity to work with Hurley Medical Center on a variety of projects, including two recent collaborations with very different goals. For Staff Appreciation Week, the focus was on recognizing the people who keep Hurley moving every day. For the Cars 108 Let’s Make Miracles Radiothon benefiting Hurley Children’s Hospital , it was about bringing people together in support of local children and families. Different projects, but both show how thoughtful branded products can help people feel appreciated and part of something bigger.
