From launching a new website to developing branded merchandise and planning a grand opening celebration, this project focused on supporting the continued growth of a company proud to serve its clients. A Website Designed to Reflect the Brand One of the first steps was creating a website that showcases the professionalism, experience, and range of services Superior Lawn & Landscape offers. The goal was to build a strong digital presence that clearly communicates the company’s capabilities while making it easy for potential clients to explore their services. Clean layouts, organized service pages, and strong visuals guide visitors through the site while highlighting the company’s landscaping expertise and portfolio. The website also incorporates content from clients and partners, allowing real voices and experiences to help tell the story of the brand.

One of my favorite parts of what we do at Behind Your Design is taking an idea and turning it into something completely custom. For Pure Barre in Grand Blanc, we had the opportunity to design silky custom pajama pants for their instructors. We started with a custom pattern created in Adobe Illustrator, tailored specifically to reflect their brand. From there, we applied the design to a digital mockup and brought it to life in production. There’s something so satisfying about seeing a design go from a computer screen to a finished product and even better, seeing a team proudly wearing something made just for them. Custom pajama pants are just one example of the creative, outside-the-box branded apparel we can produce. Some projects mean a little more than others. Cummings Property Management is one of those. We’ve been working with the Cummings team for nearly 15 years, and our relationship goes back even further. We’ve known the family since high school, so this rebrand wasn’t just another project. When they reached out about updating their logo and website, we knew how important it was to do it the right way. Cummings Property Management has been serving community associations since 1977. What started in the Flint and Genesee County area has grown into a company that now manages more than 130 communities across mid-Michigan. Over the years, the company has evolved, but their brand hadn’t quite caught up with who they are today. The goal of this refresh wasn’t to change who they are. It was to better reflect their experience, professionalism, and commitment to communication and education. We started with a clean, modern logo that still feels timeless, followed by a new website designed to be clear, easy to navigate, and useful for boards, homeowners, and prospective clients. The site supports their focus on education and communication while presenting a professional, approachable look. We’re really proud of how this project came together. The new logo and website feel like a true reflection of Cummings Property Management and position them well for what’s next. Even better, it’s always a win getting to work with people you’ve known and trusted for so long.

At Behind Your Design, we enjoy working with companies that are clear on who they are and ready to make sure their marketing reflects it. Benecor was a great example of this. Benecor is a national, family-owned systems integrator that works with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers across multiple industries. Their previous website leaned heavily toward an ecommerce experience, but it did not fully communicate what truly sets them apart: custom-engineered fueling and storage solutions designed around each customer’s operation. Our objective was to shift Benecor’s brand and website from a product-first approach to one that clearly highlights their engineering expertise, problem-solving process, and long-term partnerships.

Bringing Detroit’s Iconic Beverage Distributor to Life: Our Work with Eastown Distributors We recently had the pleasure of partnering with Eastown Distributors, a multi-generational, family-owned business with deep roots in Detroit’s history, on a brand-new website and photoshoot. Our goal was to showcase not only their products but also the legacy and reach of this iconic local company. The photoshoot started at sunrise in downtown Detroit, capturing some of the city’s most prominent locations that Eastown proudly delivers to, including Comerica Park, Fox Theatre, and Ford Field. These early-morning shots highlighted Eastown’s presence in the heart of the city and set the stage for a story that connects the brand to Detroit itself. We also ventured into everyday business operations, photographing merchandisers as they stocked shelves at grocery stores, and visiting independent retailers and neighborhood pubs to show Eastown products in action. This mix of iconic landmarks and real-world environments brought a sense of authenticity to the campaign, illustrating the company’s reach and dedication to its customers. On the digital side, the new website features a BrandFinder tool, making it easy for users to discover which brands Eastown distributes and where to find their favorite beverages. This user-friendly feature ensures that fans of Eastown’s products can quickly locate them, whether at local pubs, grocery stores, or specialty retailers. Working with Eastown was exciting because it allowed us to highlight both the people and the places that make the company such a vital part of Detroit’s beverage landscape. From family legacy to modern operations, this project celebrates everything that makes Eastown Distributors unique, and we’re proud to have brought their story to life online and through photography.

Reaching the Skies with Stunning Design: How We Partnered with Covenant Aero When Covenant Aero came to us, they had a bold mission: “The Gospel through Aviation”, using aviation as a tool to reach people in remote places with hope, faith, and help. Here at BYD, we offer branded swag to help attract the best candidates to your business. Corporate swag, also known as promotional products or branded merchandise, can offer several benefits for businesses as part of their marketing and branding efforts. However, it also comes with some challenges. Here's an overview of the benefits and challenges of corporate swag: Benefits:  Brand Awareness: Corporate swag can increase brand visibility and recognition.
