Behind Your Design Leads Event Coordination for YMCA of Greater Flint Dedication

We were honored to be part of a transformative moment in Flint’s future as the YMCA of Greater Flint celebrated the grand opening and building dedication of their new Downtown facility. Held on Monday, April 28th, this event marked the unveiling of a vibrant new health and wellness hub at the corner of 3rd and Harrison Street — and Behind Your Design had the privilege of bringing it all to life.


Our team led the event coordination from start to finish, helping craft a memorable experience for guests, donors, and community leaders. Here’s a look at some of the details we were proud to help with:

  1. 🎖️ Custom Commemorative Coins – A lasting keepsake to mark this incredible milestone.
  2. 🎁 Swag Bags – Curated with thoughtful branded items for attendees.
  3. 🧵 Embroidered Keychains – A unique and functional gift featuring the YMCA brand.
  4. 🪧 Signage & Welcome Graphic – Directional and celebratory graphics helped guide and greet attendees.
  5. 💛 Donor Recognition Graphics – Highlighting the generosity of those who made the project possible.
  6. 📸 Photography Coordination – Capturing the ribbon cutting and tour moments to preserve and share this community celebration.


It’s always exciting to see vision and collaboration come together in such a meaningful way. This new 50,000-square-foot YMCA, alongside 50 residential units, the Hurley Physical Therapy Clinic, and the Crim Fitness Foundation, is part of the LiveWell on Harrison project — a game changer for Downtown Flint.

Reaching the Skies with Stunning Design: How We Partnered with Covenant Aero When Covenant Aero came to us, they had a bold mission: “The Gospel through Aviation”, using aviation as a tool to reach people in remote places with hope, faith, and help. What they needed was a visual presence and communications strategy that could soar just as high as their planes. That’s where our team stepped in.
