THREE MUST-VISIT BARS IN FENTON

Looking for somewhere to go for a night out? Making plans for a get-together with friends? There are many options right in Fenton, MI , so look no further!

Lake life is a way of life for Fentonians. With 58 lakes in a 10-mile radius , Fenton residents and visitors alike certainly have an affinity to water! It should come as no surprise then that the first stop on our "Tour de Fenton" brings us to Ponemah Lakeside Lodge located on the bank of Lake Ponemah. Ponemah Lakeside Lodge features casual waterfront dining with indoor and outdoor seating making it the perfect spot to refresh during a day on the lake. Grab a seat for the annual Ponetian Boat Parade. Order dockside for on-the-go pickup. However you choose to enjoy the water, Ponemah Lakeside Lodge is where fun happens.

Don't forget to register for the Ponemah Lakeside Lodge membership ! Although Ponemah Lakeside Lodge is open to the public year-round, membership takes your social life to a whole new level. A Ponemah Lakeside Lodge membership keeps the fun going longer with discounts and perks. And did we mention shuttle service? The Bar Hopper shuttle is the responsible way to visit all three must-visit bars. Let's hop on board and check out the next stop!

Fenton is a community above all else, and Fentonians take pride in the small town neighborhood feel of our downtown. That is why The Fenton Pub , located in the heart of downtown, aims to be the local hangout. The Fenton Pub lives in a building built in the 1830's, and keeps the history of the building alive by featuring the original hardwood floors and exposed brick. The Fenton Pub is the place to go for a relaxed night on the town that is familiar and comfortable. Let loose with free pool while sipping a signature cocktail, or snack on Grandma's famous Barn Dip while enjoying one of 16 taps with a focus on local breweries.

And if Barn Dip just isn't enough, let's get back on The Bar Hopper to visit The Barn!

Located right off of US-23 at the corner of North Road and Torrey Road, you have probably noticed the always packed parking lot of The Barn ! A surf barn in Fenton may not make sense at first, but one visit will have you wondering why it took so long to happen. A little surf, a little sport, a lot of fun, and all the tasty menu choices is why The Barn bills itself as "A bar with GREAT food, NOT a restaurant with a bar". Many sports bars talk the talk, but few walk the walk. The Barn in Fenton just happens to be one that does. Offering volleyball and corn hole in the spring, summer and fall, and curling in the winter creates a unique, hands-on sports bar feel for when you want to do more than sit around. Play a relaxed round with friends or sign up for a league. However you want to play, you can play at The Barn!

Fenton is a vibrant, eclectic, active community. Ponemah Lakeside Lodge , The Fenton Pub and The Barn provide a rich taste of the Fenton spirit for residents and visitors alike. Be sure to like the their Facebook pages to stay up-to-date with all their events (linked above), and we will see you around town!

Let’s be honest—when’s the last time you actually looked at the “Meet the Team” section on your website? Not skimmed it. Not clicked past it. I mean really looked. If it’s been a few years, there’s a good chance that what’s up there doesn’t match the reality of your team today. Maybe Susan grew out her bangs, or Greg hasn’t worn a tie since 2019. Maybe two of the smiling faces in your header moved on ages ago—and yet, there they are, frozen in pixels like ghosts of small business past. It's nothing to be ashamed of. We've all been there. But here's the thing: your team photos aren't just filler. They're first impressions. They're trust-builders. And if they’re out-of-date, awkward, or clearly cropped from someone's wedding—well, you’re not exactly rolling out the welcome mat. Let’s talk about why updating those photos is one of the simplest, most effective ways to level up how people see your business. That “Stock Photo” Energy? Yeah, People Can Tell You know what’s worse than old team photos? Generic ones. We’ve all seen those painfully stiff group shots—everyone lined up like they’re auditioning for a corporate crime drama. Or worse, the fake handshake photos. (Why are those still a thing?) Customers and clients can smell fake a mile away. In a time when people crave authenticity—real faces, real stories—those overly polished, clearly staged images just don’t cut it anymore. What works? Real teams, real smiles, real settings. We recently worked with Women’s Integrated Health Care , which has locations in Grand Blanc, Clarkston, Davison, Fenton, Marlette, and Sandusky. Their team was incredible—warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. Our photo shoot focused on capturing that exact energy. Not just headshots, but moments that reflect how they care for their patients and support each other. That authenticity? It jumps off the screen.
